How it works - cell phone sized P.O.S. systems! WirelessPay transforms any WAP-enabled device into a mobile cash register and credit card swipe P.O.S. system. It harnesses the power, security and reliability of our SecureGate gateway. It allows the secure transfer of credit card transactions from the wireless device using the WAP protocol and 128 bit-SSL to our SecureGate. Once the transaction reaches our SecureGate, it is routed to the appropriate financial institution for authorization. After the transaction has been processed, the merchant's account is updated with the transactional information, and the customer's credit card is billed. The merchant can then visit WirelessPay.ca to see a real-time report of all processed transactions. In addition to the real-time reports available online 24/7, a merchant has the option to receive an email or letter-mail monthly statement summarizing all transactions and billing on their account. |
